A morning brief, then background work
Digitale Profis introduces Claude Duet as an assistant that does not wait for every new instruction. It summarizes activity across connected apps in the morning and draws attention to important items throughout the day. Users can also hand over a larger assignment, such as preparing a presentation or finding unpaid invoices. The same assistant combines these requested jobs with its regular checks, rather than treating each interaction as a separate conversation.

A computer that keeps working
Duet has its own virtual computer and browser. The user’s laptop therefore does not have to remain open while it works. Claude Opus 5.5 powers the assistant. For important actions, the workflow still includes a handover to the user: before sending a message or making a payment, it explains the planned action and waits for approval. Preparing work and carrying out that final action are separate steps.

Access and shared limits
The research preview began with a US waitlist, rather than a general German rollout. Duet shares the usage allowance of the existing Claude plan. Its recurring background checks count toward that allowance too, even while the user is not actively chatting. Larger assignments and routine monitoring therefore draw from the same account limits.
